Justice and Public Safety Minister John Hogan Signs Proclamation for John Howard Society Week

Thanks to JPS Minister John Hogan for a thoughtful discussion today on criminal justice matters and signing our Proclamation declaring Feb 12-18, 2023 JHS WEEK.

John Howard Society Canada has arranged for some activities tol raise public awareness about our charity and its engagement on issues and delivery of services to further just, effective, and humane responses to the causes and consequences of crime. These will begin on February 12, 2023 and run for the week. We hope you will be able to participate!

How you can help

The John Howard Society depends on public involvement. All levels of the organization – from local to national – are governed by voluntary Boards of Directors. Volunteers are extensively involved in the direct service work of the Society. Many also support the work of the John Howard Society through donations.
